Who are Alterativus?

Alterativus is a consulting organisation specialising in the management of organisational change through projects and programmes.

Philosophy

Our in-depth experience leads us to believe that successful management of complex change projects and programmes is based on blending and balancing the following:

  • Thoughtful application of the necessary planning, monitoring and control mechanisms
  • Recognising, planning for and managing the human factors that impact greatly on implementation success, such as motivation and engagement.
  • Put another way, we recognise and apply rigour and structure (methods) to keep projects and programmes under control. However, we also know that methods alone will not provide success. Organisations are collections of people and subject to all the vagaries of human nature. Failure to plan for and deal with this would be a recipe for failure.

    People

    The wisdom and good judgement required to successfully manage complex change comes with experience.
