I’ve always loved Steely Dan. \u00a0The song Josie comes from the amazing\u00a0Aja album. I think I’m right in saying the brilliant Larry Carlton plays guitar on much (if not all) of that album. \u00a0Larry also recorded\u00a0a solo instrumental version of this song. \u00a0I have to confess, I don’t think it’s up there with\u00a0his best. The production is very much of it’s time (late 80s) and it now sounds a bit dated and cheesy!<\/p>\n

Anyhow, I’d been practicing soloing over the changes for this song and I thought it might be fun to record the results.<\/p>\n
